The idea was to buy a self-cleaning toilet, without the surrounding structure, and to commission an external design agency to build a suitable oval housing around it.

The City of The Hague was pleasantly surprised when our attractive self-cleaning toilet was presented, designed of course in consultation with the city architect. The result was breathtaking!

We’re proud to say that this toilet design, which can be found in Huijgensparkhas, has been adopted as the new design for city toilets in The Hague.
